Denise Ho 1

Born in Hong Kong, raised in Montreal, Canada, and launched a flourishing singing career back in her hometown, Denise Ho, more famously known as HOCC, has become the world’s most famous Cantopop singing sensation. HOCC entered show business in 1996 after winning that year’s New Talent Singing Awards competition, and scored her first major hit in 2002 with “Angelic Blue.” By 2005 her popularity soared with the success of her stage musical Butterfly Lovers, which spawned a trio of chart-topping hits. The following year she staged her first solo concert at Hong Kong Coliseum, a momentous event for any Cantopop singer.
