Celebrating International Women’s Day 2021

A worldwide pandemic, uncertainty, and troubles big and small over this past year have brought increasing challenges and anxiety—but they have also brought together women leaders and innovators around the globe: to share their ideas and innovations, to inspire and lift up one another, and to support women and change the world. Join us as we amplify their voices, celebrate their accomplishments, learn from their vision, and work together to invest in women.

As an avid advocate for women empowerment on a global scale, the Global Citizen Forum is proud to partner with The State of Women to co-create the new normal where women’s voices and wisdom are valued, and is excited to participate in the global summit — Amplifying Her Voice, between 8-10 March 2021.

Amongst the many inspiring sessions, is the GCF-moderated roundtable discussion “Spotlight on Global Refugee Crisis: Women, Children, & The Covid-19 Crisis”, which will take place on March 9, from 12.00pm – 1.30pm ET.

The session will be moderated by GCF’s CEO, Talimka Yordanova, and feature panelists; Kuoth Wiel, the Co-Founder of Nyaeden Foundation and Founder & CEO of Janubi Naturals, Jose Naughton, the Co-Founder and CEO of Choose Love, Avery McCall, a Summer Analyst at 1843 Capital, Model, and Activist, and finally, Anu Bhardwaj, the Founder of Women Investing in Women Digital.
