Global Citizen Forum announces new strategic partnership with World Government Summit

DUBAI, 12th December, 2022 — The World Government Summit Organisation signed a strategic partnership with the Global Citizen Forum and four other distinguished knowledge contributors specialised in anticipating global trends, enhancing abilities to prepare for the future’s variabilities to develop thought-provoking content that will enable regional focused futuristic conversations and dialogues in shaping future governments.

The strategic partnership unites Global Citizen Forum’s expansive reach, with its worldwide community of prominent leaders and changemakers across a diverse range of disciplines, with the World Government Summit’s deep expertise in future trends and technologies. Together, the two plan to lead global conversations and foster knowledge sharing on how world leaders can harness cutting-edge technologies to tackle collective challenges facing the international community in order to shape a better future for all of humanity.

World Government Summit – a global knowledge exchange platform for governments was established in 2013 under the dynamic leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai.

The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications in the UAE and Managing Director of the World Government Summit Organization; and Global Citizen Forum’s Founder, Armand Arton.

As part of the partnership, the Global Citizen Forum will act as a knowledge partner, contributing to the World Government Summit’s international program of virtual and in-person events by supporting in the planning and preparation of event agendas, co-hosting sessions, and highlighting key insights and works of thought leadership across its global social media platforms.

The World Government Summit Organisation will focus through these partnerships on releasing a series of reports and Op-eds on “Observer” the Summit’s knowledge platform, that published about 120 reports, reaching to more than 6 million people around the world.

This collaboration is an important pillar in achieving the World Government Summit Organisation’s vision that focuses on key themes, including: accelerating developments and governance, future of societies and healthcare, exploring new frontiers, governing economic resilience and connectivity, global city design and sustainability, as well as prioritising learning and work.
